Physical Therapy

Physical Therapist use many different devices and apparatuses for their injured patiants. With in the past few years more and more physical therapists are using foam rollers to help patiants with soft tissue and muscle problems. Many are performing myofascial release for patients requiring physical therapy for back pain and other muscle related injuries.

Through the use of foam rollers physical therapists are developing programs for their patients to preform myofascial release, trigger point therapy and massage. These programs have proven to have great success helping with back pain, IT band syndrome, shin splints, and increasing range of motion and flexibility.

The Multi-Roller is a foam roller system developed to make using foam rollers easier for myofascial release, trigger point therapy and massage. Traditional single foam rollers can be hard to balance on and can apply too much pressure making it hard to perform the desired myofascial release; especially for those who are injured. Connected multiple foam rollers help with balance and allows one to maneuver on the adjacent rolls to establish the preferred pressure for myofascial release and massage.  This roller system also has handles available to attach to a single roller so a physical therapist can roll out their patiants on a table.

Four years ago I was involved in a bad car accident with a broken neck and back injuries.  This eventually lead to arthritis. Since then my life has consisted of visits to doctors & masseuses for pain management. Recently, after being introduced to the Multi-Roller and using it a couple times a day my back has improved and my pain management has been reduced. It has increased my flexibility by stretching & massaging.  My lifestyle has changed because of improved mobility and the decreased limitations.
